Tool Grinding Shop Supervisor

Triangle Die & Tool Co. Ltd. manufactures forge tooling and rubber molds. We provide customers with quality tooling to meet their production standards. We are currently in need of an experienced Tool Grinder with the potential to take on supervisory duties.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Coordinate with division manager on delegation of shop work

• Train employees and assist in tool grinding process

• Learn inspection machines and help in final inspection of tools

• Continuous learning about proper grinding conditions and implementation

• Set-up, operate, adjust programs and offsets on CNC grinding machines

Qualifications: 

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience

• Can handle medium to heavy materials

• Ability to work on both Walter Tool Grinder and Numroto software, an asset

Salary: We offer a range from $36-$38/hour / hour based on qualifications

Bonus: Potential bonus of up to 15% of annual salary, at the discretion of the employer.

Job Type: Full-time permanent, we guarantee a minimum of 32 hours per week

Language: An intermediate understanding of English is required.
