Key Responsibilities
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Coordinate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure efficient project execution.
- Monitor project progress and implement adjustments to timelines and resources as necessary to meet objectives.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and subcontractors to negotiate contracts and agreements.
- Resolve any contractual disputes or issues that may arise during construction activities.
- Establish quality standards and guidelines for construction work, ensuring adherence to specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities associated with construction projects and develop mitigation strategies.
- Implement corrective actions as needed to address deficiencies and maintain project quality.
- Assist with procurement of materials and provide updates to the budgets, financial reports/projections as required.
- Provide leadership and direction to project teams, including contractors, subcontractors, and other personnel.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum a college diploma in construction management, engineering, or other related fields. Prefer to have higher education.
- Minimum 3 years of work experience as construction manager, project manager, site manager or a construction background involving mechanical, electrical, plumbing, etc.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Understanding of the role of owner, architect-engineer, contractor, and subcontractor relationships.
- Excellent verbal, written communication skills; must be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
