    • Location: Brampton, ON L6T 4J4
    • Salary: 27.00 to 27.10 hourly (To be negotiated) / 30 to 44 hours per Week
    • Terms of employment: Term or contract Full time
    • Day, Evening, Flexible Hours, Morning, Night, Shift, Weekend
    • Start date: Starts as soon as possible
    • Vacancies: 5 vacancies
    • Hired by agency on payroll but employed at the location of client of agency.

Responsibilities

Tasks

  • Receive all client waste – both bulk liquids/solids and containerized
  • Load and unload waste vehicles including vacuum trucks, tankers, straight trucks and van trailer.
  • Notify the Shift Supervisor/General Manager of any defects, damages, mistakes, errors, contamination, spills, other incidents or accidents that are identified
  • Monitor instruments on one or more chemical formulation units.
  • Comply with rules, procedures, safe work and hygiene practices, health and safety standards and use of personal protective equipmen
  • Clean and maintain work space
  • Measure, weigh and load chemical ingredients following formulation cards
  • Record production information
  • Start up, shut down and troubleshoot equipment
  • Take samples
  • Perform routine chemical and physical tests of products
  • Adjust processing machines and equipment
  • Monitor reaction processes and transfers of products in conformance with safety procedures.
  • Other tasks as assigned.
