Chefco is a restaurant supply store with three locations in the GTA. We have everything a new or existing establishment may need in order to run optimally. We are constantly expanding our selection of products and offering them at the lowest prices. Our mission is to provide food service professionals with exceptional service and selection, at competitive prices, making Chefco your new go-to to meet all of your food service supply needs.
We are looking for a full-time permanent Sales Manager to join our team. This role will work on-site at the store location and will report directly to the General Manager.
Duties and responsibilities:
Hire, train, motivate, and advise a team of sales representatives
Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
Create and execute a strategic sales plan that expands our customer base and ensure its strong presence
Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
Establishes and adjusts selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand
Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
Assess individual performance through observation and measurement, and suggest corrective actions as needed
Requirements and skills:
Completion of secondary school is required
3 years of experience in sales
Strong oral and written communication skills
Proven ability to lead a team to meet quotas
Experience setting sales goals
Results-oriented with strong analytical skills
