Job Responsibilities:
- Arrange products according to planogram and create an assortment deck for the season
- Establish and maintain contact with suppliers with the delivery timeline
- Maintain adequate stock levels and call out on restocking and new styles
- Oversee distribution of merchandise to the store according to their individual delivery timeline
- Provide customer service via phone calls, emails and chat services
- Review requirements of establishment and determine quantity and type of merchandise to purchase
- Select and purchase merchandise for resale
- Study market reports, trade periodicals and sales promotion materials and visit trade shows, showrooms, factories and product design events
- Assist the buyers and bridge their buyouts by updating the website to showcase the merchandise.
- Liaison between Buyers/Vendor to capture all the relevant information of the brands being carried for the Season
- Responsible for optimizing product listings & site layout across all platforms, Mobile & Desktop, to our Shopify store.
- Write unique product copy & generate links that align with SEO best practices.
- Optimize site navigation, filtering, category management, and product assortment for optimal customer discoverability and product positioning.
- Work with buyers to select featured assortment and lists as it relates to brand/category launches.
- Upload product photos and product descriptions based on the photoshoot list.
- Review the e-commerce store backend to ensure out-of-stock items are removed and in-stock products can be accessed by online customers on a weekly basis.
- Ensure online orders are properly processed in Shopify and follow up with the appropriate shipping method
- Maintaining our internal order procedure (order confirmation, item availability, payment verification, packing, wrapping, and shipping) is followed from start to finish.
- Assist the Design and photography Officer with the creation of a photoshoot calendar, starting from the Marketing Partnership Program calendar, which will be used as a workback plan for all digital photography and content strategies for the season.
- Assist with content ideas for all our company social media platforms and help plan/execute those agreed ideas.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor or Diploma in Fashion Merchandising or Management
- 1-2 years of experience in the industry
- Familiar with Digital content management
- Maintain a professional workspace
- Able to operate e-commerce software
- Excellent communication skills and customer care skills
- Good planning and organizational skills
