Micacchi Architecture, located at 212-160 Pears Ave, Toronto, Ontario, M5R1S9, is seeking to an experienced Architecture Designer.  You will be working on an in-the-office basis at the office and will also be visiting client sites throughout Ontario.

This is a permanent full-time position (30 hours/week), which is expected to start as soon as possible.  The annual salary is $ 48,750 plus 2 weeks vacation time.

The main responsibilities and duties will include:

• Conducting pre-design studies such as analyzing by-laws, building codes, site requirements, space requirements, etc.
• Assisting in the architectural design
• Contracting administration
• Preparing Archicad drawing sets
• Designing 3D full BIM modelling in Archicad

The following skills are required for this position:

• Substantial knowledge of OBC
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related program
• Extensive knowledge of Archicad, Twinmotion, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Familiar with MAC OS and Apple I-work suite
• Exceptional, in-depth 3D visualizing skills with ability to create photo-realistic architectural renderings
