Job Description

Location: Brampton, ON L6Y 0V6

Salary: $29.50 hourly/ 40 hours per week

Overtime: 1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours

Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Job Type: Permanent employment, Full time 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage day-to-day office operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient work environment.
  • Maintain and organize company records, including freight documentation, logbook, invoices, and other administrative paperwork.
  • Manage internal and external communications, including emails, phone calls, and correspondence, to facilitate effective information flow.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors, managing orders, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Assist in budget preparation and monitor expenses to ensure financial targets are met.
  • Arrange travel logistics for staff, including transportation and accommodation, when required.
  • Plan and coordinate meetings, conferences, and company events, managing logistics and ensuring smooth execution.
  • Oversee and manage office supplies and inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels and cost-effectiveness.
  • Analyze administrative data and prepare reports to support decision-making and improve operational efficiency.
  • Assist in handling customer inquiries and concerns, providing support and ensuring a positive customer experience. 

Eligibility Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required. 
  • Previous experience of 2 to 3 years in administrative or office support roles is preferred. 
  • Proficiency in using office software applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, and email is essential.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with team members, clients, and external stakeholders.
  • One must be highly organized to manage schedules, appointments, and office resources efficiently.
  • Demonstrating excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Being able to identify and resolve issues that arise during office operations and administration.
  • Having a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in handling data, documents, and administrative tasks.
  • The capability to juggle multiple responsibilities and manage interruptions effectively.
