Hotel manager

Work Location: North Bay, ON, P1A 2G4

Salary: $25.25 per hour 32.5to 44 hours /week

MS Word, Central Reservation System (CRS), MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Access, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for daily operations.
  • Negotiate with suppliers for the provision of materials and supplies.
  • Make arrangements with customers to utilize space for gatherings such as banquets, conferences, and receptions.
  • Developing and implementing marketing strategies to attract new guests and retain existing ones.
  • Prepare budgets and monitor revenues and expenses.
  • Prepare and Implement marketing plans and marketing activities.
  • Enforce policies and procedures and develop and implement business plans.
  • Ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction by addressing complaints, resolving issues, and maintaining high standards of service.
  • Establish work schedules, manage training, and hire and manage personnel.
  • Negotiating contracts with suppliers and vendors for services and products needed by the hotel.
