Job Description

Position: Restaurant Supervisor

Position Available: 01

Terms of Employment: Full Time and Permanent (Overtime, weekends if required)

Wage: C$19.00/Hour (35 to 40 hours per week)

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Duties:

  1. Oversee both front and back of house operations
  2. Maintain high-quality food standards
  3. Oversee our kitchen staff’s compliance with all health code and sanitation requirements
  4. Provide exceptional customer service and lead staff to do the same
  5. Respond to customer complaints quickly and resolve them effectively
  6. Develop strategies for improving our customers’ dining experience
  7. Work with staff to project future needs for kitchen supplies, goods, and cleaning products.
  8. Maintain inventory of all needed supplies
  9. Identify methods our restaurant can use to cut waste, decrease costs, and improve profits
  10. Manage the work schedules of our restaurant’s staff
  11. Assist in the hiring and training of new employees as well as the continuous training of existing staff

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Language: English

Work conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Standing for extended periods
