Tasks
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
- Plan menus and determine the size of food portions.
- Estimate food requirements and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Inspect Kitchens and food service areas.
- Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers.
- Oversee kitchen operations and inspect the kitchen and food service areas.
- Set up and oversee buffets.
- Set up, clean, and organize kitchen and work area.
- Hire and train kitchen staff in the preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
