Salary and Benefits:
- Advertised salary: $36.50 per hour for a 35-hour work week
- Shift: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm business hours, Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week
- Benefit: 10 days of paid vacation or 4% of gross wage
Skills Required:
- Generate well-written code using best software development practices
- Create user-friendly website layouts using HTML and CSS
- Regularly review and modify websites as needed
- Utilize creativity and ingenuity in the website creation process
- Collaborate with other departments to effectively complete the program
- Integrate various backends, services, and databases
- Ensure websites are functioning properly and troubleshoot in the event of an emergency
- Keep proper documentation of all software changes
- Back up data on a regular basis
- Perform thorough testing and debugging to ensure accuracy, reliability, and performance of online systems
- Assist in project testing, deployment, and provide support for project implementation
Employment Requirements:
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming, Web Development, or Software Engineering, or completion of college coursework in Computer Science or a related field
- Experience working as a computer programmer is usually required. 1 year or more
