Position: Bookkeeper
Position Available: 01
Terms of Employment: Full Time and Permanent (Overtime, weekends if required)
Wage: $30.00 per hour (40 hours per week)
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Work Location: New Westminster
Job Duties:
Record and reconcile financial transactions for the department, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Assist with budget preparation by providing accurate financial data and analysis.
Monitor departmental expenses and ensure they are within budget limits.
Work with other departments to ensure financial transactions are properly recorded and reported.
Prepare and file tax returns and other financial reports as required.
Maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere to accounting policies and procedures.
Assist with special projects as needed.
Job Requirements:
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Language: English
