Job Description
Location : Winnipeg, Manitoba
Wages : 25.50 hourly / 35 to 45 hours Per Week
Education : Secondary (high) School Graduation Certificate
Experience : Experience an asset
Responsibilities :
- Professionalism in customer service
- Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
- Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
- Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
- Perform preventive maintenance
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
Credentials : (Certificates, Licences, Memberships and courses)
- Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
- Driver's Licence (Class 1 or A)
Experience and Specialization (Documentation Knowledge)
- Driver logbook
- Inspection report (Pre-trip, en-route, post-trip
