Sushi Koshio Asian Cuisine is a restaurant that specializes in authentic Asian Cuisine, especially in traditional Japanese food. Due to rapid growth, we need to hire an experienced cook to join us.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and complete Japanese meals and individual dishes using authentic recipes, spices, and food products.
- Design and plan menus;
- Prepare dished of the day with certain portions;
- Determine the size of food portions, estimating food requirements and costs;
- Maintain inventory and records of food and supplies;
- Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers, train kitchen helpers as needed;
- Maintain kitchen operations, clean work area and follow safety regulations.
Employment requirements:
- Completion of secondary school or equivalent program in cooking is required
- 3-5 years’ cooking experience in Japanese Cuisine as a Cook in a restaurant, hotel or resort setting is required
- Have a culinary certificate or equivalent credentials
Job Details:
Salary:$16-18/hour, 40 hours/week
