Salary: $29.00/hour for 35-40 hours per week

NOC Group:  Plasterers, drywall installers and finishers and lathers (73102)

Job Location: All over lower mainland with base at 8938 Edinburg Dr Surrey BC Canada V3V 6R6

Start Date: As Soon As Possible

Education: Secondary school

Language: English

Duties:

• Apply coats of plaster or stucco to walls, ceilings, or partitions of buildings using brushes,

spraying equipment, trowels etc.

• Apply texture materials over walls and ceilings.

• Cure newly plastered surfaces.

• Add decorative textures, apply finishing coats etc.

• Mix plaster ingredients to achieve desired consistency or thickness.

• Mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices and trim.

• Prepare surfaces for plaster by cleaning them.

• Apply stucco coats using trowel or spray equipment to the exteriors of buildings to make the

surfaces weatherproof.

Job Requirements:

Education: Completion of secondary school

Experience: One to two years of experience in plastering & drywalling 

Ability to walk stands, crouch for long periods of time and carry out strenuous physical tasks.

Benefits: As per BC Employment Standards Act, 4% Vacation pay of the gross salary will be paid each pay period with 10 days of unpaid vacation or 10 days of paid vacation with no vacation on each pay period. 5 days of paid sick leave.
