Required Logistics Supervisor (TEER 12013)

Responsibilities and essential job functions include:

• Assign and review the work of employees engaged in verifying and keeping records of outgoing shipments, dispatchers, and other related office workers;
• Oversees outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments.
• Oversee the execution of operational excellence of our transport services for all customers.
• Order supplies and materials and ensure smooth operations of office systems and equipment.
• Researching ideal shipping techniques, routing, and carriers.
• Maintains various files and records – both computerized and hard copy files;
• Designs and improves processes - in the medium and long term;
• Trains workers in job duties and safety procedures.
• Responding to any issues or complaints.
• Continue to strengthen relationships with existing customers to expand business opportunities.

Education, Skills and Experience:

• Completion of 1–2-year college diploma in business, supply chain or 1-2 years’ experience in logistics, warehouse or industry related field is preferred;
• Ability to collaborate with business partners on organizational initiatives;
• Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple tasks/projects;
• On job training will be provided;
• Excellent written, verbal and organizational skills;
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office;
