Job Title: Kitchen Helper (NOC 65201)

Terms of Employment: 30-40 hours per week,Full- time/Permanent

Start Date: As soon as possible

Wage: $17.40 - $19.40 Per hour (Depending on experience)

No of Positions: 2

Job Duties:                                                                                                           

• Assist in cleaning, peeling, slicing and trimming vegetables, fruit, various seafood, poultry and meat
• Clean and sanitize kitchen areas including worktables, cupboards and appliances
• Remove trash and clean kitchen garbage containers
• Unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, cupboards and other storage areas
• Sweep, mop floors and clean work area
• May assist in serving customers when needed
• May assist in clearing/cleaning tables and trays when needed
• May assist in washing dishes, glassware, pots, and pans when needed
• Perform other duties to assist cook and kitchen staff

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

Education: No formal education is required.

Experience: No formal experience required. Successful candidates will be provided with training

Language: Basic English
