Located in a bustling neighborhood in Richmond, British Columbia, our coffee house serves as a perfect spot for community gatherings, casual meetings, and relaxation.
Responsibilities:
- Organize and manage the schedules and daily activities of baristas and other staff members, ensuring efficient operation of the coffee house.
- Conduct training for new employees on operational procedures, customer service standards, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor and uphold the quality of food and beverages served, ensuring all offerings meet established standards of the coffee house.
- Forecast the need for ingredients and supplies, place orders to replenish stocks, and manage inventory to avoid wastage and ensure availability.
- Address customer complaints promptly, manage service issues, and use customer feedback to improve service quality and operation.
- Assist in the management of the coffee house’s financial tasks, such as budgeting, controlling costs, and preparing reports on financial performance and daily revenues.
- Ensure all staff comply with local health and safety laws, maintaining a clean and safe environment for both customers and employees.
- Work with the management team on promotional events and marketing strategies to enhance customer engagement and increase sales.
Requirements:
Education
Ÿ Completion of a college diploma
Work Experience
Ÿ at least 3 months in food preparation or service related work experience
Language
Job Type: full-time (37.5 hours/week), permanent
Salary: $20.5 hourly
