Painter

Salary: $34.10 hourly / 30.00 to 40.00 hours per Week

Terms of employment: Permanent employment, regular, full time                                           

Requirements: high school, 2-3 years of experience in painting, equipment and machinery experience: airless spray equipment, brush painting, conventional spray painting, multi-ratio pump spraying, roller painting, coating/application specialization: multi-color finishes, paint spraying, specialty finishes, wood finishes (graining, marbleizing, staining, glazing). Needed attention to detail, ability to distinguish between colors, bending, crouching, kneeling, weight handling Up to 23 kg (50 lbs), personal suitability flexibility, initiative, reliability, team player.                                                                                                                                                                       

Tasks: prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted, repair cracks and holes, mix paint to desired color and texture, advise consumers on colors and choice of paint, apply paint, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces, repaint, respray, refinish kitchen cabinets and other furniture as per custom orders, using Pre Catalyzed and Post Catalyzed water based lacquer, solod colors, specialty finishes, wood finishes, etc.
