Vice President - Head of Technology and operations ( Permanent Position)
Salary : $75.00 per hour
Experience : 5 years or more
Education : Bachelor's degree
Responsibilities:
- Allocate material, human and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs
- Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions
- Establish financial and administrative controls; formulate and approve promotional campaigns; and approve overall human resources planning
- Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs
- Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions
- Select middle managers, directors or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions.
Additional responsibilities :
- Technology Strategy and Partnership : Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with business goals, leveraging emerging technologies to drive innovation, efficiency, and competitive advantage and establish partnership with partners and suppliers.
- Team Leadership and Operations : Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, including IT, engineering, operations, and project management, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture and ensure seamless business operations.
- Project Management and innovation: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technology projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget and transform Business models to deliver efficiency and productivity.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with executive leadership to align technology and operational strategies with overall business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Bachelors, Business, or a related field (Master's/MBA preferred).
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role with a minimum of 5 years of experience leading technology and operations teams.
- Strong technical background with knowledge of diverse technologies, systems, and software development methodologies.
- Experience in multiple domains such as IT, software development, project management, operations, and business strategy.
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with a track record of motivating and developing high-performing teams.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to align technology initiatives with business objectives.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex challenges.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in industries is a plus.
