Vice President - Head of Technology and operations ( Permanent Position)

Salary : $75.00 per hour

Experience : 5 years or more

Education : Bachelor's degree

Responsibilities:

 

  • Allocate material, human and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs
  • Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions
  • Establish financial and administrative controls; formulate and approve promotional campaigns; and approve overall human resources planning
  • Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs
  • Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions
  • Select middle managers, directors or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions.

Additional responsibilities : 

 

  • Technology Strategy and Partnership : Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with business goals, leveraging emerging technologies to drive innovation, efficiency, and competitive advantage and establish partnership with partners and suppliers. 
  • Team Leadership and Operations : Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, including IT, engineering, operations, and project management, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture and ensure seamless business operations. 
  • Project Management and innovation: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technology projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget and transform Business models to deliver efficiency and productivity. 
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with executive leadership to align technology and operational strategies with overall business objectives.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Bachelors, Business, or a related field (Master's/MBA preferred).
    • Proven experience in a senior leadership role with a minimum of 5 years of experience leading technology and operations teams.
    • Strong technical background with knowledge of diverse technologies, systems, and software development methodologies.
    • Experience in multiple domains such as IT, software development, project management, operations, and business strategy.
    • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with a track record of motivating and developing high-performing teams.
    • Strategic thinker with the ability to align technology initiatives with business objectives.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex challenges.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • Experience in industries is a plus.
