Job Position: Long Haul Truck Driver (NOC: 73300)

Work Location: 3380 Airway Drive, Unit #17, Mississauga, Ontario

Salary: $ 27.50 to 28.00/Hourly on 35 to 40 hours/week work schedule

Education: High School Diploma Required, Provincial/Federal Licenses required

Job Responsibilities:

• Drive long distances to deliver products to various locations
• Follow safety procedures and regulations for commercial vehicles
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues before and after trips
• Report any incidents, accidents, or violations to the appropriate authorities
• Communicate with dispatchers, other drivers, and customers to ensure timely delivery of products
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, rest periods, and cargo information
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
• Perform basic maintenance tasks such as changing tires, replacing bulbs, and refueling

Skills & Requirements:

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with proper endorsements must/required
• Required training will be provided
• Clean driving record
• Ability to operate and maintain a long-haul truck
• Experience in long-distance driving
• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance with them
• Excellent communication and time-management skills
• Physical stamina and ability to spend long hours on the road
• Flexibility with work schedule, including weekends and holidays
