Job Title: Dump Truck Driver (NOC 73300)

Terms of Employment: 40 to 50 hours per week, Full-time/ Permanent

Start Date: As soon as possible

Wage: $28.90 per hour

Overtime: 1.5 times the regular pay for every hour exceeding 60hrs/week

Benefits:  As per company policy

Vacation Pay: 10 days paid vacation per year.

Work setting: Various locations across Canada.

Shift: Day, Evening, Early Morning, Morning, Overtime, Weekend

Job Duties:

• Load and unload goods.
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
• Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
• Perform brake adjustments.
• Perform emergency roadside repairs.
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle.
• Perform preventive maintenance.

Education:

• Completion of Secondary school is required.

Credentials:

• Class 1 or A Driver’s License

Experience:

• Experience is an asset. On the job trainingwill be provided to willing candidates.

Language:

• Proficiency to communicate in basic English.
