EDOKKO JAPANESE FOOD is looking for a sou-chef position.
Salary: $23.50 / hour
Job Type: Full-time, permanent (30 to 40 hours/week)

Experience: 5 years of related experience or more.
Tasks
- Collaborating with restaurant management to create and update the menu
- Overseeing the preparation of ingredients, including slicing fish, cutting vegetables, marinating meats, and preparing sauces
- Directly responsible for cooking and assembling dishes
- Maintaining high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation
- Keeping up-to-date with current trends and techniques in Japanese cuisine
- Monitoring food costs and kitchen expenses to ensure profitability
