We are currently searching for two experienced Cleaning Supervisors specialized in General Commercial sectors. This position is critical to the daily operations of our business. The major responsibilities of this position include:
- To arrange and supervise Emergency Cleaning Crews to safely and effectively attend emergency services.
- As a Leadsperson, supervising frontline workers, you will be responsible to ensure that all employees are following the company's protocol on COVID 19 prevention, such as wearing masks, face shield, gloves, and proper protective uniform continuously preventing the contamination and the spread of the COVID 19 virus.
- Be on call to respond to the supervision of Emergency Cleaning Crews attending to floods, clogging and fire damage cleaning.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the management of our cleaner team in multiple facilities.
- Actively pursue excellence in employee and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure all equipment, supplies, vehicles (if required) and products entrusted in your care are carefully handled and maintained.
- Ensure that employees know and understand company rules, security procedures and proper chemical usage.
- Provide support to employees as needed to make their job easier and satisfying, ensuring absentees due to vacations and illness are covered.
- Excellent best practice knowledge of cleaning, off schedule special semiannual client cleaning projects, and /or pre move in cleaning.
- Supervise and co-ordinate the work of cleaners.
- Know how to strip and wax floors and have carpet cleaning knowledge and experience.
- Experience in laundry operations is necessary to operate high-speed burnishing and swing machines.
- Inspect sites or facilities to ensure established safety and cleanliness standards are met.
- Interview, screen new cleaning staff, and advise management.
- Prepare work schedule and co-ordinate activities with other departments.
- Prepare budget, estimate costs, and keep financial records.
- Receive payment and issue receipts for specialized cleaning jobs.
- Knowledge and ability to train employees of operation of Electrostatic equipment to properly disinfect surfaces.
- Order supplies every month for the accounts.
- Prepare documents for hiring of new employees.
- Attend meetings.
- Prepare daily reports, accident reports.
- Coordinate vacations periods and time off.
- Knowledge of surge learning and excel.
You will be required to train staff.

Permanent Full time with 40 hours per week
Hours of work:
Monday to Friday from 8 am to 4 pm
Expected to regularly work 40 hours per week, including weekends and holidays. These hours may vary based on business needs. You may also be asked to work additional hours beyond the regular hours, when business needs require it, and will be expected to be flexible with availability.
Salary:
From $ 27.00 to $ 29.00 per hour
