Salary: $27.55 per hour for 35 hours per week

Overtime: 1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours
Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Job Responsibilities:
- Accurately recording and organizing financial transactions, including income, expenses, and other financial activities.
- Entering financial data into accounting software or ledger books, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Managing and processing bills, invoices, and payments to suppliers and vendors.
- Handling customer invoices, tracking payments, and following up on overdue accounts.
- Balancing and reconciling bank statements to ensure they align with financial records.
- Preparing and generating financial reports, such as income statements and balance sheets, to help with decision-making.
- Assisting in preparing tax returns and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Calculating and disbursing employee salaries, taxes, and deductions accurately and on time.
- Conducting basic financial analysis to help businesses make informed financial decisions.
Eligibility Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is typically the minimum educational requirement.
- Require 2 to 3 years of previous bookkeeping experience.
- One should have strong math and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheet programs is required.
- Expertise in working with Tax Prep and QuickBooks is highly valued.
- Attention to detail is crucial in bookkeeping.
- The capacity to analyse financial data and identify discrepancies or irregularities.
- Efficient time management to meet deadlines and handle multiple financial tasks.
