Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage sales budgets, forecasts, and financial reports. Monitor expenses, revenue streams, and profitability metrics to optimize sales performance and resource allocation.
- They are responsible for setting overall strategic direction, formulating policies, and managing resources.
- Taking charge of the sales team, offering direction, inspiration, and assistance to attain both individual and collective performance goals.
- Establishing ambitious yet attainable sales targets for the team or department to drive growth and meet organizational objectives.
- Overseeing and assessing the sales team’s performance, conducting routine performance assessments, and implementing appropriate actions for enhancing outcomes.
- Analyzing market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to forecast sales volumes and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Creating sales budgets, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring the efficient utilization of sales resources to maximize return on investment.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers, understanding their requirements, and ensuring customer satisfaction to foster long-term business partnerships.
- Creating effective sales strategies and tactics to penetrate new markets, expand existing customer base, and increase sales revenue.
- Identifying training needs, providing sales training programs, coaching team members, and enhancing their sales skills and product knowledge.
- Generating and analyzing regular sales reports, analyzing sales data, and presenting key performance indicators to senior management to inform decision-making.
Eligibility Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, sales, or a related field is required.
- Extensive experience of 5 years or more in sales and sales management is crucial.
- Strong leadership and management skills are essential for guiding and motivating the sales team.
- Understanding budgeting, financial reporting, and resource allocation within the sales department. The budgetary responsibilities lie between $500,001 - $1,500,000.
- The ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue goals.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills for effective interaction with clients, team members, and senior management.
- Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to use sales metrics and market data to make informed decisions.
- Effective negotiation skills for closing deals and managing relationships with clients and partners.
