Title of the Position: Carpenter

Job Duties:

• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials using hand or power tools.
• Fit and install trim items such as doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware (crown moulding, wood base, baseboards, casings, chair rails, wainscoting, window sills, aprons, etc.).
• Maintain, repair, and renovate residences.
• Follow safety and health regulations during work operations to ensure environmentally friendly and safe structures.

Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent Position

Language of Work: Basic English

Wage: $30 per hour

Benefits Package: As per BC Employment Standards

Location(s) of Work: Various locations in lower mainland region. BC

Skills Requirements:

• Education: No formal education needed.
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of related experience
