We will provide:
- Range of 30-40 hours per week
- Paid Vacation of 2 Weeks each year or 4% of salary
- Pay at $16.55 - $17.55 per hour
Duties
- Prepare and cook mass batches of different vegetarian and non-vegetarian curries by adhering to the menu recipes and specifications.
- Ensure adequate supplies are available to meet daily menu plan requirements
- Ensure that the food presentation and quality meet the restaurant’s standards.
- Assist in preparing and serving meals properly and attractively
- Keep the work area, utensils and production equipment clean and sanitized
- Train and supervise staff in the preparation, cooking and handling of food
- Preparing weekly schedules of kitchen staff members
- Following the recipes as per Bombay Hub’s procedure.
- Assist in menu planning, inventory counts and grocery orders
- Follow proper storage and rotation of all food supplies.
- Prepare tandoor items like naans, kulchas, Chapati, chicken, lamb, Tandoori Paneer and other Indian appetizers using the required tools and appliances.
- Assist in hiring kitchen staff
- Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
- Escalate major issues when necessary (e.g. safety risks, equipment failure)

- No experience required. We will train the candidate
- Ability to legally work in Canada.
