Job Title: Reefer Refrigeration Technician

Term: Permanent Full-time position

 

Wage:

-       $34.50 per hour

-       Employees shall receive overtime pay at the rate of 1½ times their regular rate for all hours worked in excess of ten (8) hours a day or forty (40) hours in a week.

Job Duties:

  • You will be in charge of repair and maintenance of container facilities, inspecting machinery and equipment as well as detect and investigate if there are irregularities and/or malfunctions.
  • As a refrigeration technician, you will align, install and move industrial equipment according to the layout plans, using different tools.
  • There is possibilities that you will work on different sites, for example on static train or boat to analyze the equipment (during work hours only).

 

Who You are

  • Professional Diploma (DEP) or a journeyman refrigeration specialist certificate is Preferred.
  • You have 3-5 Years’ experience on working on Transportation reefer refrigeration systems.
  • You are passionate about the field of refrigeration; you are a persevering worker who seeks to solve problems.
  • You are punctual and like to work in collaboration with your colleagues.
  • You have the skills to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • you are disciplined and you like a job well done.

Other Requirements:

-       Red Seal Certification or eligibility to acquire Red Seal certification is preferred

-       Able to stand for extended period in noisy, dusty, and hot conditions

-       Travel up to 75 percent of time in Harrietfield area in company vehicle.

-       Strong communication skills in English

-       Strong customer service skills

-       Strong problem-solving skills
