Term: Permanent Full-time position
Wage:
- $26.50 per hour
- Employees shall receive overtime pay at the rate of 1½ times their regular rate for all hours worked in excess of forty-four (44) hours in a week.
Job Duties:
- Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring smooth and efficient patient care.
- Set up treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain dental equipment in compliance with infection control protocols.
- Take and process dental X-rays, as well as perform dental impressions and other necessary laboratory procedures.
- Conduct oral health assessments and provide patients with simple terms with oral hygiene techniques.
- Maintain accurate patient records and provide support with administrative tasks as required.
- Perform clerical duties such as prepare invoices, process payments, schedule patient appointments, record dental procedures performed and order dental and office supplies
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry or Diploma in Dental Assisting
- 1-2 years’ experience as a Dental Assistant
