Responsibilities
Tasks
- Schedule and assign routes to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
- Monitor driver performance and provide coaching or feedback as needed.
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards.
- Coordinate vehicle maintenance and inspections to maintain fleet reliability.
- Oversee loading and unloading operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Track shipment progress and address any delays or issues proactively.
- Prepare and review reports on driver logs, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Resolve driver or customer complaints and address concerns effectively.
- Hire and train new drivers to maintain a skilled workforce.
- Collaborate with logistics and dispatch teams to optimize operations.
