Job Description

 Location: Brampton, ON L6W 3W8

Salary: $25.00 hourly / 30 to 48 hours per Week

Number of vacancies: 2

Job Type: Permanent employment

Work Shift: Day, Flexible Hours, Morning, Overtime, Weekend

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provides administrative support to ensure efficient office operations.
  • Maintains physical and digital filing systems.
  • Answers phone calls and directs callers to appropriate personnel, schedules appointments, signs for incoming packages, and assists clients and other visitors.
  • Responds to emails and other digital queries and correspondence.
  • Arrange and co-ordinate seminars, conferences, etc.
  • Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars and conferences
  • Determine and establish office procedures and routines
  • Inputs and updates information in databases and spreadsheets.
  • Operates and maintains office equipment, including printers, copiers, and fax machines.
  • Plan, develop and implement recruitment strategies
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
  • Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages

 Eligibility Requirements:

  • A high school graduation certificate or equivalent is the minimum educational qualification.
  • Proven experience of 1 to less than 7 months as an office administrator, administrative assistant, or similar role.
  • Proficiency in office software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
