Taekwondo Coach (NOC: 53201)
Job Description:
- Instruction of Taekwondo in group classes at all levels of experience and ages
- Private lessons for Students
- Prepare and arrange for Competitions: in house, locally, regionally, nationally
- Assist parents and students in developing appropriate training and competition
schedules
- Demonstrate and instruct with activities and techniques
- Plan and structure lessons and activities
- Instruct groups and individuals, and lead groups and individuals in recreation or leisure
programs
- Monitor recreational, sports or fitness activities to ensure safety and provide emergency
first aid assistance when required.
- Enforce safety rules and regulations
- Assist with coordination of special events
- Schedule activities, keep lots, maintain records, and prepare reports
- Train existing coaches and any new recruits hired
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
Wage: $25.00 hourly for 30 hours per week.
Benefits: 4% Vacation Pay of remuneration.
Qualifications/ Skills/ Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma
- Experience: 2-3 Years or more experience as a Taekwondo Coach
- Credentials: Taekwondo 4th Dan certificate or above from Kukkiwon
- Language: Speak English, Read English, Write English
