Education:  Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

 

Experience:  1 year to less than 2 years

 

Work site environment:  Outdoors, Dusty

 

Weight handling:  Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

 

Work setting:  Various locations

 

Own tools/equipment:  
Steel-toed safety boots,
Hard hat,
Cellular phone,
Safety vest

 

Personal suitability:  Client focus, Efficient interpersonal skills, Flexibility, Reliability, Team player

 

Equipment and machinery experience:  Chippers, Jackhammers, Drills, Sledgehammer

 

Area of specialization:  Asbestos abatement and removal

Tasks

 - Load, unload and transport construction materials

 - Mix, pour and spread materials

 - Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites

 - Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs

 - Assist in demolishing buildings

 - Clean and pile salvaged materials

 - Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites

 

Transportation/travel information:  Own transportation, Own vehicle, Willing to travel, Willing to travel regularly, Public transportation is available

 

Work conditions and physical capabilities:  Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks, Physically demanding
