Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, evaluate, and implement new administrative protocols.
  • Delegate tasks and work to members of the office support team.
  • Set task priorities, monitor procedure adherence, and regularly fulfill deadlines.
  • Carry out operational responsibilities for the organization.
  • Manage rules and procedures for providing documents in response to government access to information and privacy laws requests.
  • Organize and plan office services that include facilities, equipment, supplies, forms, asset disposal, parking, maintenance, and security.
  • Prepares an annual budget, schedules expenditures, analyzes deviations, and initiates corrective actions to meet financial targets.
  • Compile data and create regular and special reports, instructions, and communications.
  • Oversee, supervise, and manage administrative process coordination.
  • Recruits, selects, orients, and trains people to keep the office running smoothly.

 

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Office Manager, Front Office Manager, or Administrative Assistant for 2 to 3 years.
  • A college graduation or CEGEP in management, business administration, or a related profession is required.
  • Hands on experience with office machines (e.g. fax machines and printers)
  • Ability to operate MS Office, Spreadsheet, MS Windows and accounting software
  • A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements and supervise the sub ordinates
  • Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership and team management skills to oversee staff and coordinate office activities effectively.
  • Effective time management abilities are required to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
  • Basic budgeting techniques to help manage workplace spending.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are needed for building effective relationships with team members and stakeholders.
  • Aptitude to handle multiple tasks at the same time.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills along with keen attention to detailed information

 Location: Milton, ON L9T 0J5

Salary: $29.15 per hour / 35 hours per week

Overtime: 1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours

Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Job Type: Permanent employment
