Salary: $33.25 per hour for 35 hours per week

Overtime: 1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours
Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and manage local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral devices.
- Use master consoles to monitor the functionality of computer systems and networks and to coordinate network access and use.
- Maintain control records and perform routine network operations such as startup and shutdown.
- Carry out data backups and disaster recovery procedures.
- Setup, manage, debug, and upgrade Web-server and network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weaknesses
- Set up networks in local areas and Internet connections.
- Perform a diagnosis and installation of computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software.
- Implement network traffic and security monitoring tools, as well as server performance optimization.
- Perform data restoration and backup operations on Web servers.
- Support network users with problem-solving.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Educational criteria include college diploma/CEGEP in network administration or related field is preferred
- 2-3 years of experience within similar role or performing the equivalent duties is preferred
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and sitting capacity for extended hours
- A solid understanding of Linux, networking software, networking security, Microsoft Windows, and information technology
- Proven ability to make sound decisions, especially under pressure, considering both short-term and long-term implications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Adept at identifying and solving complex problems, fostering innovation and adaptability.
