The IBM Tivoli Specialist will be responsible for implementing, managing, and optimizing IBM Tivoli solutions. This role requires expertise in Tivoli's suite of products, focusing on IT infrastructure management.

Required Experience
- 3 years to less than 5 years with IBM Tivoli products.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience of IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networks.
- Experience with scripting for automation (Shell, Perl, Python).
- Experience with cloud technologies like IBM Watson, AWS and Digital Ocean -
- Should be good in problem-solving and communication skills.

- Experience with containerization and virtualization tools like Docker and VMware
- May require after-hours work and on-call emergency support.
Responsibilities
Tasks
- Implement and configure IBM Tivoli products like Tivoli Monitoring and Storage Manager.
- Manage system monitoring, performance tuning, and preventive maintenance.
- Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system performance.
- Customize and automate Tivoli products for organizational needs.
- Handle disaster recovery and backup processes using Tivoli Storage Manager.
- Maintain documentation of Tivoli configurations and generate system performance reports.
- Train team members and collaborate for integrated IT management.
- Collect and document user's requirements and develop logical and physical specifications
- Research, evaluate and synthesize technical information to design, develop and test computer-based systems
- Develop data, process and network models to optimize architecture and to evaluate the performance and reliability of designs
- Plan, design and co-ordinate the development, installation, integration and operation of computer-based systems
- Assess, troubleshoot, document, upgrade and develop maintenance procedures for operating systems, communications environments and applications software
- Lead and co-ordinate teams of information systems professionals in the development of software and integrated information systems, process control software and other embedded software control systems
- Operate automatic or other testing equipment to ensure product quality
- Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support
- Conduct tests and perform security and quality controls
- Execute and document results of software application tests and information and telecommunication systems tests
