Job Responsibilities:
- Assist and coordinate in hiring activities such as scheduling interviews, updating the calendar accordingly, answering phone calls, and monitoring emails.
- Prepare and post job advertisements online and on various job portals.
- Researching and screening application and candidates as per the requirement.
- Perform clerical duties like emailing, handling paperwork, and processing background checks
- Assist with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties
- Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations
- Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews
- Following up with candidates during the recruitment process, like shortlisting callbacks or rejection emails.
- Maintain an accurate, organized, and detailed candidate database.
Eligibility Requirements:
- A CEGEP/college; typically, in human resources, business, or relevant field.
- Demonstrated insight as Recruitment Assistant or other enlisting related job
- Experience utilizing enlisting programming and interpersonal organizations for enrolling
- Experience sourcing, screening, and scheduling candidates
- Ability to understand business needs in order to align jobs with candidates
- Proven experience of 1 year to 2 years – relatively as an HR Assistant, Staff Assistant or relevant human resources/administrative position
- Fast computer typing skills (MS Office, in particular)
- Hands-on experience with an HRIS or HRMS
- Familiarity with ATS software and resume databases
Location: Kitchener, ON, N2G 2L2
Salary: $30.25 per hour for 35 hours per week
Number of vacancies: 1
Overtime: 1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours
Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period
