JOB DESCRIPTION
Location: Kitchener, ON N2G 2L2
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee all staffing needs and requirements of all the departments of the company.
- Liaise with managers and other authorities to fill vacancies in a timely manner
- Develop strategies to identify the potential candidate; to fulfill the respective requirements.
- Ensures the compliance of all staffing procedures with the company policies and legal standards
- Prepare job offers for the selected employees.
- Prepares timely staffing reports and updates for management
- Identify hard to fill roles and take proactive actions
- Assist in candidate screening and interviewing along with new employee onboarding.
- Design and plan work shifts schedules and training schedules for the new and existing employees
- Provide assistance with payroll procedures and activities to accounting department.
- Identify staffing and recruiting KPIs
- Create and present and submit reports for upper management.
Salary: $31.00 per hour for 35 hours per week
Number of vacancies: 1
Overtime: 1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours
Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period
Job Type: Permanent employment
Eligibility Requirements:
- A CEGEP/college Human Resources or related field.
- Typically, 2-3 years of proven experience as staffing coordinator or similar position.
- Knowledge of staffing policies, procedures and best practices
- Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Reliable with a respect to confidentiality
- Knowledgeable about relevant employment laws and regulations
- Efficient in handling and managing people and resources
- Proficient in MS Office
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
