JOB DESCRIPTION
Location: North York, ON, M2N 6S6
Salary: $30.50 per hour for 35 hours per week
Job Responsibilities:
- Support the advancements and application of proper HR functions and norms.
- Review working conditions and other vital factors that ensure a proper workplace environment.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
- Assist and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization
- Nurture a positive working environment
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
- Maintain pay plan and benefits program
- Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
Number of vacancies: 1
Overtime: 1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours
Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period
Job Type: Permanent employment
Eligibility Requirements:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in HR and Admin
- Demonstrable planning and prioritising skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment, multi-tasking and delivering to deadlines
- Knowledge of HR systems; including improving HR databases; experience of building reports and extracting information and intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft systems such as Excel and Word
- College/CEGEP is required as the minimum qualification; in HR and administration or related field.
