Job duties:
- Train new employees during orientation and training and communicate with current employees to clarify job descriptions and associated expectations.
- Compose training guides, onboarding materials and other pertinent papers for the training and other events.
- Provide routine, thorough needs analyses to spot skill gaps.
- Administer employee development, language training, and health and safety programs.
- Advise and assist other departmental managers on the interpretation and administration of personnel policies and programs.
- Organize and conduct employee information meetings on employment policy, benefits, and compensations, and participate actively on various joint committees.
- Address skills gaps with customized internal training and when necessary, coordinate external training.
- Coordinate with department heads and line managers to keep an eye on the performance of the personnel.
