Location: North York, ON M3C 3N6

Salary: $32.50 per hour for 35 hours per week

Number of vacancies: 1

Overtime: 1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours

Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Job Responsibilities:

• Create original, straightforward, and user-friendly website design concepts.
• Produce storyboards, site maps, user flows, and process flows.
• Establish a style guide that specifies the web application's color scheme, font choice, and design elements.
• Staying current with software, hardware, and accessibility advancements as well as design trends.
•  Examining and enhancing the website's appearance
• Apply analytics and data to decision-making in design.
• Keeping up to date with design trends and technological, software and accessibility developments.
• Testing and improving the design of the website.
• Work with front-end web developers to deploy designs.
• Developing prototypes of the website and test pages to show the client how the website works
• Ability to create webpages that are optimized for all devices
•  Ensuring that the design components work correctly across a range of devices and browsers
• Updating and maintaining websites on a regular basis to keep them relevant and functional

 Eligibility Requirements:

• CEGEP/College diploma, degree in web design, graphic design, design and visual communications, or a related is preferred.
• Prior experience of 2 to 3 years in related field is required.
• Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
• Hands-on experience in creating wireframes, user flows, process flows, storyboards, and site maps.
• Strong organizational skills to execute projects from conception to launch, independently and in collaboration with other team members
• Strong communication skills to share expertise within the team and to internal stakeholders
• Careful attention to detail as well as flexibility to adapt to changing business needs
