Premier Nuts manufacturers Pistachio products is hiring a Retail and Wholesale Trade Manager in Port Coquitlam, BC, Canada.

Salary: $31.25 per hour

Job Overview:

As a Retail and Wholesale Trade Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of a pistachio retail. You will lead a team of employees, manage inventory, provide exceptional customer service, and ensure the business meets sales targets and operational goals. This position requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a passion for delivering an excellent customer experience.

Job Description:

  • Develop, evaluate, and oversee the operations of manufacturing pistachios and engaging in wholesale and retail sales.
  • Manage staffs, assign duties, and supervise their performance.
  • Analyze market research and trends to determine consumer demands, potential sales volumes, and the impact of competitors' activities on sales.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate product deliveries.
  • Decide on the range of products to be sold and implement pricing, credit policies and quality checks.
  • Collaborate with vendors and negotiate contracts as necessary to procure merchandise for resale.
  • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to promote products.
  • Create budgets, authorize expenditures, and monitor revenues.
  • Assess and enhance customer service, promptly addressing customer requests and resolving issues.
  • Manage staffing requirements, including recruitment, training, and staff retention.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates, sales targets, and operational standards.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • At least 3 to 5 years experience in retail management, preferably in a similar food or speciality retail environment.
  • Completion of high school
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Solid understanding of inventory management and merchandising.
  • Flexible schedule, including the ability to work weekends and holidays as required.
  • Work under pressure
  • Fast paced environment.
  • Work hours: 35 to 40 hours per week
  • Work term: Full-time / Permanent
