Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble requirements from users, record them, and create logical and physical specifications.
- To design, build, and test computer-based systems, including mobile applications, one must gather, analyse, and synthesise technical knowledge.
- To evaluate the performance and dependability of designs and to optimise architecture, develop data, process, and network models.
- Plan, design, and oversee the creation of computer-based systems, including mobile applications, as well as their integration, operation, and maintenance.
- Operating systems, communications environments, and application software maintenance methods are evaluated, tested, troubleshot, documented, upgraded, and developed.
- The development of software and integrated information systems, process control software, and other embedded software control systems may be led and coordinated by teams of information systems professionals.
- Create, implement, and carry out test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software performance, security, and functionality.
- Create and implement manual and automated tests to completely cover all aspects and functionalities of the product.
- Work together to understand requirements and maintain clear communication throughout the testing process with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
- Identify and record any flaws, problems, or chances for improvement; then, collaborate closely with the development teams to hasten their resolution.
- Take part in design evaluations and offer feedback on the usability, performance, and usefulness of products from a quality standpoint.
- Mentor and support members of the QA team who are more junior, promoting a culture of knowledge sharing and ongoing education.
- Assist in the development of QA methodology, tools, and processes to boost testing activities' effectiveness and efficiency.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 2+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on both manual and automated testing.
- Strong experience with test automation frameworks and tools.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, or similar languages used for test automation.
- Thorough understanding of QA methodologies, testing techniques, and best practices.
- Experience with performance testing, security testing, and load testing is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. • Proven ability to lead and mentor junior QA team members
Education qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree is usually needed, generally in computer science, computer systems engineering, software engineering, or mathematics, or the successful completion of an accredited computer science course.
