Job Duties:
1. Lead by example and motivate your team to provide excellent customer service, maintain cleanliness, and uphold quality standards.
2. Ensure customers have a positive experience by providing friendly and efficient service, addressing concerns, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
3. Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching to ensure team members perform their best. Monitor performance and address any issues promptly.
4. Direct food preparation and portioning activities, ensuring maintain high food and beverage quality standards, following Waves Coffee House recipes and procedures.
5. Oversee inventory levels, order supplies, and monitor stock rotation to minimize waste, keep accurate records of inventory, equipment repairs, sales data, and waste, helping to minimize costs and track performance.
6. Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, and lead by example in maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
7. Manage shift schedules, delegate tasks, and ensure smooth operations during your shifts, develop and implement work schedules to meet operational demands and ensure the smooth flow of service.
8. Monitor food service, presentation, and quality, making adjustments as needed to uphold our standards.
9. Generate regular reports on food service operations, financial performance, and customer feedback.
10. Collaborate with the kitchen team, providing them with order summaries and ensuring the accurate preparation of menu items.
11. Oversee the assembly of food trays, ensuring they meet presentation and portion standards.
12. Collaborate in the development of budgets and cost estimates, ensuring cost-effective operations and financial efficiency.
13. Participate in the recruitment and selection process to build a skilled and motivated food service team.
Qualifications:
1. College Diploma or related training
2. Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a food service or coffee shop environment is required, at least 7 months to less than 1 year.
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and handle stressful situations with grace.
4. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Passion for coffee and dedication to providing excellent customer service.
