Job Description

Location: Mississauga, ON L5B 1M5

Salary: $ 61.30 hourly / 30 hours per week

Overtime:1.5 times gross pay after completion of 44 hours

Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Job Type: Permanent employment 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Providing strategic leadership and vision to the sales department of the company to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Developing and implementing sales strategies to align with the company's business goals and objectives.
  • Recruiting, managing, and leading the team members and support staff, setting clear goals, providing coaching and mentorship, and ensuring the team’s success.
  • Overseeing projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Promoting the adoption of innovative technologies and practices to improve efficiency and competitive advantage.
  • Managing the sales budget and ensuring efficient resource allocation.
  • Managing relationships with IT vendors, negotiating contracts, and evaluating service providers.
  • Overseeing regular reports on IT performance, progress, and initiatives.
  • Identifying and mitigating IT-related risks that could impact the company's operations.
  • Fostering and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Driving revenue growth through effective sales tactics, expanding the customer base, and maximizing profitability by controlling costs and optimizing sales processes.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field such as business, marketing, or sales is a minimum requirement
  • The budgetary responsibility falls within $500,001 - $1,500,000. 
  • Extensive experience in sales and sales management is crucial. This can range from 5 years or more of progressively responsible roles in sales. 
  • Familiarity with the IT industry in which the company operates is valuable. 
  • Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills are essential for leading and motivating a sales team.
  • The ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive intelligence is valuable for making informed decisions.
  • The capacity to adapt to changing market conditions and evolving sales techniques is crucial.
  • Responsible for supervision of at least 3 to 4 people.
