SALARY

$16.00 per hour, 30-40 hours per week

DUTIES

1. Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and utensils.
2. Assist in the preparation of food items.
3. Remove kitchen garbage and trash, maintain a healthy and clean work environment.
4. Ensure that all food items are stored and handled in accordance with food safety regulations.
5. Keep records or the quantities of food and inventory level.
6. Work with the team to ensure that all orders are prepared quickly and accurately.
7. Perform other duties to assist cook and kitchen staff.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Prefer to have at least secondary education.
2. Previous experience in Food Service/Hospitality will be an asset.
3. Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
4. Ability to understand and follow directions.
5. Ability to meet restaurant standards for health, safety, and excellence.
6. Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
7. Ability to work well as part of a team.
