Food Counter Attendant

Salary-16.55 hourly

Terms of Employment-  Permanent employment Full-time, 35 hours per week 

Start date - As soon as possible 

Job Requirements:

Language- English 

Education- No degree, certificate or diploma 

Experience- Will train 

Responsibilites ( Tasks)

• receiving and processing customer orders

• serving customers the food they order

• preparing hot beverages, such as tea, coffee, and hot chocolate

• keeping the kitchen and serving areas clean and sanitized

• answering customers' questions and providing customer service

• accepting payment for orders and providing change if necessary

• portioning and wrapping food

• clearing tables and cleaning them for the next customers

• engaging in plating and portion preparation

• stocking counters, fridges, and salad bars as necessary

• maintaining sales and inventory records

• setting tables with cutlery, napkins, glasses, and condiments

• preparing certain food ingredients by peeling or slicing

• cleaning dishes and operating a dishwasher

• preparing simple foods, such as sandwiches, burgers, and wraps
