Job Description

Location: Scarborough, ON M1P 4Y1

Salary: $60.50 per hour for 35 hours per week

Overtime:1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours

Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Job Type: Permanent employment

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the marketing and sales team to achieve the set targets.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to generate growth in revenue, expand market share, and drive business growth while aligning with the company's overall goals.
  • Manage the sales team, including recruitment, training, coaching, and performance evaluation, to ensure a motivated and effective sales force.
  • Build and maintain strong direct as well as indirect relationships with key clients, addressing their needs, providing solutions, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Strong leadership skills to guide, inspire, and motivate the sales team. Set a positive example, communicate a clear vision, and empower team members to excel.
  • Act as mentors, providing guidance, sharing insights, and helping team members enhance their selling techniques, negotiation skills, and overall performance.
  • Conducting SWOT analysis, identifying strengths and key areas for improvement, and providing constructive solutions.
  • Independently making choices and decisions that align with the company's objectives.
  • Review the sales forecasts, and investor reports and accordingly strategize inventory planning, resource allocation, and demand projections.
  • Lead negotiations with clients, vendors, and partners, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that uphold the company's interests.
  • Implement strategies to retain existing customers, including post-sale support, value-added services, and personalized solutions. 

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline. 
  • Significant experience in sales and management roles, often ranging from 5 years or more. 
  • An in-depth understanding of the specific industry's dynamics, market trends, and challenges is essential to effectively lead the sales team and drive results.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities are crucial to guide and motivate the sales team to meet targets and objectives.
  • Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with clients, negotiate deals, and collaborate with other departments.
  • Proficiency in analyzing sales data, market insights, and performance metrics to make informed decisions and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Understanding of budgeting and financial management to allocate resources effectively.
