Duties:

• Assist in the construction of a landscape and related structures such as spreading topsoil, laying down sod, planting flowers and grass.
• Cut grass, rake, dethatch, fertilize, watering plants, lawns, garden area, pruning and planting seeds and other maintenance duties as instructed by supervisor.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Arrange the planting and maintenance of trees, gardens, lawns, shrubs and installation of fences, decks and walls.
• Operate and maintain landscape related equipment such as power mowers, tractors, chain saws, pruning saws, snowblowers etc.
• Assist landscaper worker on the work location.
• Co-ordinate with supervisor and other team members on the work.
• Perform other general labor duties to clean and maintain landscaped surroundings.
